Some people may think that dissertation research is dull and have nothing to do with love affair. You can imagine dissertation research like sitting in the libraries stuck in the piles of books. Well, dissertation research can look like that. Still, I know several situations when people met their love while writing a dissertation.

The first case happened to my friend, who was writing a dissertation on the archeology and had to go in the archeological expedition. He did not have a strong desire to go in that expedition and potter in the ground searching for some pieces of ancient things.

Still, he had to go, since his dissertation would be incomplete without that trip. And there he met a wonderful girl who he fell in love with from the first sight. They had beautiful relations, but unfortunately everything finished when the expedition was over. They were living in different places and for some reasons could not continue their affair.

The second case happened to another friend of mine, who was also writing a dissertation. He met his girlfriend in the … library. This case has a happier ending, since they go out till today.

With these two examples I just want to say that your destiny may change dramatically very unexpectedly. You never know who you can meet and how your relations can develop further. Even if you do not meet your love, you can meet a good friend or just a nice person to talk to.

I also want to say that it is better to take all the events in your life as an optimist. Your positive mood will help to turn all your actions to a real success.
